…but this time, unlike the photographs in my previous posts, these have a whole different feel.
Rather than being stark and angular, these are soft and curvy. It’s a completely different quality of light. It’s all reflected from the glass of the surrounding buildings.
The visual effect on the sidewalk is apparent but, when the color is drained to black and white, it becomes much more easier to see.
To me it was an amazing scene. I stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and fired off some shots as quickly as possible for fear that what I was seeing would dissolve from a shift of the clouds (it didn’t). What was more amazing was that nobody seemed to notice the dappling light show.
